Research & Outreach Footprint

The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center conducts research and outreach activities that align with community needs. These activities include cutting-edge clinical research studies that look at new ways to understand, prevent, detect, or treat cancer. Outreach activities include tailored community events designed to provide education about cancer prevention, screening, and early diagnosis. Research and outreach activities take place in the four-county Sylvester Catchment Area (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Monroe Counties), as well as throughout the state of Florida and beyond.
